Hi Community,
I am stuck at simple conundrum.
I Need low pin count micro-controller
that needs to drive micro sd card and external SPI dac.
the purpose is to be able to read and play 2-3 wave files(16bit 22050) at the same time from the card.
I was using lpc1343 and was able to play one but i wasn't able to play second one without using the whole resource of the controller. So I think I need DMA to make it more robust.
So if you have any suggestion what kind of NXP controller have DMA,  low pin count and etc. please share your  thoughts here.
I will really appreciate any further advice.
Regards,
Boyko

Did you design custom board for those, and did you had any difficulties  doing so?
Those chip have really power supply pin placement but may need more thinking before doing so.

Are you familiar with more specific difference between the  three like clock speed and som other limitations?

I'm using LPC1549 in LQFP48 and LQFP64: 256kB Flash, 36kB SRAM, 4kB EEPROM, 72MHz, ROM-CAN and ROM-USB as described in Datasheet / User manual...

Thank you for the fast responce.
I am not familiar with this family of products,
So there is 1517 and 1547 and 1549 with a different pinout. Are you familiar with more specific difference between the  three like clock speed and som other limitations?
