If we modify the bootloader VID/PID, and use MCU_boot utility to update the FW will fail.
Does the MCU_boot utility will check the VID/PID by USB?
If you modify the bootloader VID/PID, you need to adjust below args in \NXP-MCUBootUtility\src\targets\LPC55S16\bltargetconfig.py
romUsbVid = '0x1FC9' romUsbPid = '0x0022'

Our customer use their EVT board, we provid the method(how to change bootloader VID/PID).
Their platform is LPC5514.
Add MCU BOOT Utility version.
Does the tool will check the VID/PID?(I know that there are at least 3 types)?
Does the tool will check the VID/PID? yes, it can check it
What board evk are you using? What are the steps you are following? Are you using any SDK examples?
