Brand new PCB with a LPC1833JET100 populated onto the board. I have applied 3.3V power to the part but see no sine wave on the 12MHz crystal. 18pF load capacitance is present as called out on the datasheet of the Abracon crystal. Are there any specific settings that need to be written before I can see the crystal oscillate ?

Hi ,
In you Debugger setting, can you select port as SWD?

Paul,

Unable to get the ULINK2 to connect to the LPC1833 using the TCP2030 cable. Schematic attached. Thanks for your help.

The default clock for the LPC18xx is the internal RC oscillator, so you will not see the crystal oscillate until you change the clock source to the external crystal oscillator.  See the Clock Generation Unit (CGU) chapter for details.
