LPC1788 Ethernet

Hi all,

I'm facing a problem with the Ethernet interface of the LPC1788 microcontroller. Sometimes, after a time operating normally, the ping reply time suddenly gets higher. When this happens, there is no way to recover the interface from this behavior (just turning the board off and on again). I saw already (debugging the system) that when ping response times gets higher, the RX Consume index is different from the RX Produce index, unlike the normal operation, where the 2 indexes (Produce and Consume) are always equal. I'm using CMSIS driver for the Ethernet peripheral. 

Has anyone ever experienced this? Any idea of what it could be?

Hello Rafael,

In order for you to get the best support regarding the behavior you are experiencing, I highly recommend contacting the ARM support team directly, because you are using the CMSIS libraries for ethernet.

Also, I would recommend checking the ethernet examples provided in the LPCOpen, if you would like extra references. However, these examples don't use the CMSIS libraries.
