How to get DFU Tool Software Source Code

Customer would like to get DFU tool open source code from NXP. After modifying and compilering source code, it will be used in their manufacture for FW update.

Is that possible to get it from NXP no matter for free or license it?

DFUSec was discontinued 4 or 5 years ago and replaced by LPCScrypt. Source code is not available.
