Is there any way to change the xtal frequency slightly so that i can achive the desired working frequency.

My board with LPC1830 has a 12 Mhz xtal. The processor run with 120 MHz.

I want to change the frequency at about 20 kHz to minimize RF interference in another circuit. Is it possible to make this adjustment?

Thank you.

Ivar.

Hi,

Changing the load capacitance on the crystal pins, may shift the frequency by a few percent. There will not be any drastic changes in frequency though.

Thanks
