How to I trigger a soft reset on an LPC4370 using MCUXpresso

What is the command to trigger a reset, I am trying to do it when a comms break is received.

You mean by software? ARM has that SystemResetRequest, see How to Reset an ARM Cortex-M with Software | MCU on Eclipse
