We've been using the LPC3250FET296/01,5 for many years, and we are about to look at building another batch of our product that uses them.

I note that the LPC3250FET296/01,5 is now not recommended for new designs and have been asked if the LPC3250FET296/01K (which is labelled as 'Active') can be used in its place.

Of course, I'm hoping it will be a direct plug-in replacement, but have not managed to find any information about this newer part.

Would anybody have any information on it?

Hi,

Pls refer to the link:

https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-microcontrollers/general-purpose-mc...

From silicon itself, the LPC3250FET296/01K and  LPC3250FET296/01,5 are the same, they can interchange. The only difference is the packing.
