Hi, We are using LPC5516 series microcontroller for BLDC actuation system using available servo drive from ELMO motion control. We are able to communicate the drive on serial port using LPC5516. We wanted to communicate the drive on CAN protocol since the servo drive supports the same. But for that it requires the LPC5516 should support for DS402 as suggested by the drive manufacturer. Please let us know whether the selected LPC5516 is suitable for the application or not. If not, please let us know the provision for getting driver for the same to make it works.

I am sorry to inform you that the LPC5516 does not support DS402.

Apparently DS402 is supported through Real-Time Edge Software, in this link you can find the supported platforms and more documentation about it.
