What is the recommended peripheral to use when connecting to an OLED (or any) display that uses a 8-bit 6800/8080 parallel bus? My initial research into the subject seems to imply that you should use the EMC+DMA. However I'm already using the EMC for external SDRAM. Is it possible to use the LCD controller for this purpose? How about the SGPIO+DMA?
So the 3 options that I've identified:
EMC+DMA
- Will there be bus contention with external SDRAM?
LCD Controller?
- The LPC43xx manual doesn't mention the 6800/8080 parallel bus at all.
SGPIO+DMA
Any advise, reference circuits/code would be greatly appreciated.
