i want to write data of a new software-image via IAP (In Application Programming) to this one of flash-banks (A and B), which is currently NOT in use to not run into conflict with parts of the running application located on the currently used flash-bank.
Within the user-manual of LPC43xx i only found the command "Chip_IAP_SetBootFlashBank(..)" for setting the boot flash-bank to A or B.
But what I need is to evaluate the used flash-bank (e.g. A) in the first place and set the boot flash-bank (B) in the second place.
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and
for the opportunity to serve you.
To be honest, I'm a bit confused with the mean of 'what I need is to evaluate the used flash-bank (e.g. A) in the first place'.
Whether you want an indicator to tell which flash bank is active now, please explain it.
Have a great day,
TIC

Hello and thanks for the fast response,
Yes, i need an indicator, which tells me which flash bank is active.
Here i already found FLASHCFGA, FLASHCFGB and i am reading bit31 of these registers.
Of cource i could have written a function and a function pointer, pointing to this function and just reading this address to know which flash bank is used, but this would only be a workaround.
I guess this issue can be closed now.
Best regards
