The only way to use the emWin library provided by NXP is with the LCD controller available on ,any of our higher-end ARM MCUs. This may still work with certain LCDs with built in controllers, but the controller will need to be able to be configured to operate in the standard pixel clock format, effectively bypassing the LCD controller. If you look at the Embedded Artists LPC1788 board and the 320x240 LCD this is exactly what they do. They configure the LCD controller in the LCD to operate in pixel clock mode, and then drive the LCD directly with the LCD controller on the LPC1788.
