Availability of LPC microcontrollers, what to select

Hello,

We want to start the development of a new IO device for industrial control systems. We want to use the LPC11C24 for this, but it's not clear if it's end of life or not. To be honest, it's not clear what microcontrollers will be produced in the end or not. We need a device with CAN, UART, and GPIO (at least 16, more is preferred).

Is there any microcontroller you would recommend? Availability now and the next 10 years is one of the main selection criteria these days. How can we filter devices on this?

Kind regards,

John

HI John

LPC11C24 was launched in March,2011, 15 years Longevity year. Less 5 years remains.

So if you start a new design, I suggest you consider LPC546xx

Hope this helps.
