Hi NXP community
I have a question related to the NXP LPC54000 microcontroller family.
Here we use Cortex-M0 and Cortex-M4. These ARM cores provide interrupts.
Some interrupts are labeled as "Reserved".
Do these "Reserved" interrupts actually exist on Silicon?
If they exist on Silicon but are not mapped to any hardware can they be used as "Software" interrupts?
If they exist on Silicon are there plans to remove this hardware in the future to save silicon area to optimized?
Many thanks.
Dani
Hi,
No, there are not mapped to any hardware however they cannot be used as "Software" interrupts?
and there is no plan to remove this.
Have a great day,
Sol
