Where is the documentation or examples for the Shell included in the KSDK 1.3 created by the KSDK Builder

the Shell is included in the utilities folder but I cannot find any documentation or examples for it.  Are any available?

I made the decision to move away from MQX as it will no longer be supported so I only included FreeRTOS in my SDK build. Going back to MQX would defeat the purpose of this exercise.  My project was working with MQX and its included shell.  My goal is to port to KSDK 1.3 with FreeRTOS. 

My SDK includes a shell which is different from the one used with MQX. Is there any documentation of example code for this shell?

Unfortunately no. No other example and documentation are not available.

It depends, what option you choose in Kinetis Expert.

If you want to work with Shell, you must choose MQX option

after that you will see under middleware rtcs folder:

You can find Shell example under <KSDK1.3_path>\middleware\tcpip\rtcs\examples\shell

The Readme to RTCS Shell Application you will find in the same folder.

Documentation for the Shell - MQX RTOS RTCS User's Guide (IPv4 and IPv6) you will find at <KSDK1.3_path>\doc\tcpip\mqx_rtcs
