Good morning
I used the example for the watchdog coming with the SDK. I am not using the frdm board, it should not be a problem, the
code is just basic. I am not able to refresh the watchdog, once started it will ineluctably reset the processor after the set time.
The set timeout is correct but no way to reset the count.
I use the K64 processor..
Is there a suggestion???
Thank You all
Pietro
I have installed the 1.2 but my existing works are still using the 1.1. So I am experimenting with this version, since I have seen the backward compatibility is not provided. I have further tried, I see if I clean, close, delete the project(without delete) , than import again, the projects compile again. Something is not in order anyway, but the situation begins to be lighter.
One thing I would like to understand is the nanolib option. The only way to -build the projects is to use the specs=nano.specs -specs=nosys.specs
while the nanolib is producing errors. If You provide me a better explanation of this it is of help. I will try to process the original question, if the watchddow example works.
Thank You for support
Hello Pietro,
if you port projects from KDS 2.0 to KDS 3.0 there are more parameters, you should change (flags for processor and options for linker).
Please, see the tutorial
I hope this helps you,
Iva
Hi Pietro,
Are you using the latest KDS_3.0 and KSDK_1.2.0?
For issues like this best to post your project as well.
Regards,
David
I am using the KDS 2.0 and the SDK 1.1.0...
Thank You
Hi Pietro,
Can you try upgrading and re-testing?
Regards,
David
Hei David
I tried to install the KDS 3. Nothing works.
In the 2.0 version importing a project automatically imports the SDK if not already in the workspace. Here it does not happen.
I imported the SDK manually and it is impossible to build. The error is
arm-none-eabi-gcc: fatal error: no input files
I have now a useless setup.. I need a quick support, or it is better for me to scrap this update..
Thank You
Pietro
Hello Pietro,
and have you already installed KSDK 1.2 ?
What do you use for the operating system?
Please, did you follow these steps?
Best Regards,
Iva
