K65 support in the KSDK

I am looking into using the KSDK on a new project, but I see all chip families are not yet supported.  We will be targeting the newer K65 (MK65FN2M0CAC18R) and I was wondering if there are any plans to add support for this to the KSDK.  Also, I see that it may not be entirely straightforward to add support for a new chip family, but is there any documentation detailing this process?

K65 SDK support will be added with KSDK1.2, it will come out around end of Apr next year.
