hello I'm a teenager and kind of new to programming mcus and I don't know where to start ive got the FRDM-KL43Z and download all the ksdk, sdk and don't know where to get started.

The FRDM-KL43Z is not their to actually start programming

Hi Jack:

Did you download KSDK v1.2 already?

You need to install the KSDK v1.2 Eclipse Update to Kinetis Design Studio (KDS). The attached guide is for KSDK v1.1, but the exact same steps are for KSDK v1.2.

That is strange. I got FRDM-KL43Z without further installations, but there is however a standalone package for FRDM-KL43Z. Please try with that one, the detailed steps are in the next link:
