EmbSys Viewer will not Install on Luna 4.4

I have tried to install EmbSys Viewer on KDS 3.2 with Luna 4.4.
I followed the methods described in this forum and on mcuoneclipse.com

When I try to specify the device (K22F), NXP or Freescale is not listed in the vendor listing.

Any suggestions?

Are the NXP/Freescale SVD files present in your data files/collection for EmbSysRegView?

Depending on your EmbSysRegView, this might be different, see Adding CMSIS-SVD Files to EmbSysRegView 0.2.6.r192 and Eclipse | MCU on Eclipse

I hope this helps,

Erich

OK.  I see it in the ADV(CMSIS) folder.  But KDS is not recognizing it.

I think you mean the 'SVD(CMSIS)' folder. Not sure why it does not list it for you. But in any case, you can pick and choose any folder name or move files into a folder of your choice inside the data.

Yes, it's installed.

But if you look at the package, NXP is missing!  (note:  I temporarily

renamed the .jar to .zip)

Very strange...

Can you check the SVD folder in that zip file?

Working now.

Simply need to select SVD(CMSIS) under Architecture in the EmbSysReg

section and then select Freescale.  A bit different approach from the

article since I didn't create a KDS directory and copy the files.  This

is not easy if you don't have Winzip Pro.  So I simply left it as is.

You don't need WinZip Pro. Any zip tool (as 7-Zip) can do this.
