Compiling KSDK libraries

Hi,

I've placed KSDK under version-control to get it safe for the future.

After the import into the version-control (Perforce) I would like to compile all the KSDK libraries.

To great surprise it's not possible because .../.projectis read-only!!??

In our environment we often compile a project, but the project-files should not be changed when just doing a compile,

on the contrary it's important to know that you could not change the project in any way.

Is this behaviour by design? or just an accident?

Hello Ole,

It is their feature. Libraries should be constant and unchanging - it is the reason, why they are read-only.

You can set permissions for your project.

Why you store compiled libraries to version system? To version systems are stored only source code.

I hope this helps,

Best Regards,

Iva
