using MATLAB/Simulink to Program Kinetis Microcontrollers

Hi,

I am using embedded coder of Mathworks to develop code for Kinetis microcontrollers. I installed the Motor Control Toolbox of NXP. However the target microcontroller I am using (MKV11Z128) is not listed in MATLAB. Only MKV10xxx series are available to choose in MATLAB.

A further Problem is that after building the model including the Motor Control Toolbox blocks, no IAR project is created, and the source code needs to be integrated in an IAR Project manually. Is it the standard workflow?!

Best regards

Saeid

Hi,

Regarding the second question for IAR, you need to create a new project by selecting the "Externally built executable option" that will no need to integrate source code manually.

Hi

When you install the Motor Control Toolbox, on the installation folder there is a document Motor_Control_Toolbox_Release_Notes with the list of supported device, unfortunately as you said the MKV11Z128VLF7 is not supported.

You can check the list and maybe you can use on your project the MKV31.
