Hi,

I got two chips of MK66, see the attached pictures.

The one with QCX1839N in third line is not working. When I soldered to PCB board, there is shortage between 3.3V and GND.

But, the other one is working fine...

Can anybody tell me if the chip(not working one) is not from NXP? And how to confirm this?

Thanks,

Christie

Hi Vicente,

We bought these from Honkong, China because of shortage.

Could you find the other date code from NXP because I want to see if it is fake chips?

The failed one only has  1dot(Pin1) on top of chip. And other one(working) has 3 dots.

Thanks,

Christie

Hi Vicente,

It is possible to confirm the one not in your database is fake one? Or something else?

Thanks,

Hi Vicente,

Any way to confirm it from your side? Did it happen before on MK66?

looks like yes, especially if you bought it with a not authorized distributor.

Hi Vicente,

There is any difference between 3 dots and 1 dots?

Can you help me to identify the fake chip?

Thanks,

Christie
