Hi, I'm trying to use the internal voltage regulator of the k40, but I don't know if  I'd wire on on the PCB the 3v3out to all VDD of the IC to get the uC run.... or if it's internally connected to the core and peripherals. and let the VDD pins unconnected..

I could't find the block diagram of the internall setup so I'm confusing....

thanks in advance for your time.

Pablo

Hello Pablo:

I think you refer to USB regulator, right?

This regulator is not internally connected to the core or peripherals, so yes, you need to wire externally to VDD. Just place a capacitor between Vreg33out and GND (~ 2.2 uF). AND make sure not to exceed the maximum 120 mA.
