error when connecting K40 kinetis kwikstik by external segger jlink using KDS

Dear Sir

I am using kinetis keikstik board.i can debug this board using internal segger jlink.Then i tried to connect external segger jlink jtag .

i make switch position (off) to use extenal jtag. applied 3v enernal jtag power.there i got error

launching the project encountered problem

error in final launching sequence

"

Failed to execute MI command:

-target-select remote localhost:2331 "

on console there is

"Quit (expect signal SIGINT when the program is resumed)"

please tell me solution

please, what is your reason for the external segger jlink when the segger jlink is on a board?

Dear sir,

The problem solved .The external jtag port to program external controller. We try to program board controller using external programmer. So I make the switch to On position and give VSS (gnd)directly programmer connector. So thank you for your response

Dear sir,

I am working in Research and development company ,CDAC,India.We actually buy this eval-board(kinetis kwikstik) to use our project using the microcontroller that used in the Tower board. So we have to test external segger jlink programmer that already we have.So please tell me as soon as possible.
