Hello ,
by reading the TWRKV31F120MIARUG.pdf I have notest that pcb TWR-KV31F120M has mounted daughtercard on it ( see page 4/10 of TWRKV31F120MIARUG.pdf ).
I would appreciate any information about this daughtercard ,i.e. link to schematic , Freescale code of this daughtercardand also if it is possible to order few pcs from Freescale or from some distributor ( in Europe ).
Thank you ,

Hi,Drazen and Mark,
If you turn aside the the board, you can see the J500 40 pins female connector(motor control connector from the top side perspective), you can connect power stage board with the J500 connector.
Hope it is helpful inf.

Hi, Drazen and Mark
For the motor control power stage board, there are two connection methods:
1)the latest connection is to use the following boards: TWR-KV31F120M(control board), TWR-MC-LV3PH(power stage board), TWR-ELEV(primary and secondary boards), as far as I know that the TWR-MC-LV3PH kit includes BLDC motor with Hall sensor, 24V DC power supply. with this connection, you can establish a typical motor control system.
2)the old connection is to use the following boards:TWR-KV31F120M(control board) plus APMOTOR56F8000 motor control Demonstration board. You can order the APMOTOR56F8000 motor control Demonstration board from the website:
anyway, I suggest you use method 1, order TWR-KV31F120M(control board), TWR-MC-LV3PH(power stage board), TWR-ELEV(primary and secondary boards) to establish BLDC motor control system, with this system, you can use many other control board to control the BLDC motor, for example TWR-8400(MC56F84789) or TWR-8200(MC56F82748) DSC control boards to control BLDC.
You can order TWR-MC-LV3PH kit from the website:
you can order the TWR-ELEV(this is a flank boards including primary and secondary boards) from the website:

Hi Drazen
I thik that you need to post the version of the document that you have or a link to it because there is no doughter board on the picture on that page in the version at Freescale: http://cache.freescale.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/user_guide/TWRKV31F120MIARUG.pdf

Mark , thanks on the reply.
Here is picture and the link .
For me it looks like there is daughtercard on the board , but I can not tell that I am 100% sure.
Drazen
There is no daughter board on it - I have this one and it looks like that; maybe the square with rounded edges around the processor makes it look as if it higher than the rest of the board (?) but it is not.

Mark
Mark ,
thanks on the explanation.
