What is Flex CAN and CAN FD.

we are using mkv based controller. it has 2 flex can.

I want to know, what is difference between Flex CAN and CAN FD and whether "Flex CAN" can be used to configure CAN FD(so that we can send 64 bytes at a time in our controller)

Hello @Mariya ,

Thanks for you post. For Kinetis, its FLEXCAN module does not support CAN FD. As far as I know, the MCX A/MCX N/iMXRT 106x series' FLEXCAN is extended to support CAN-FD. Please refer to Solved: i.MX RT's with CAN-FD (vs. FlexCAN) - NXP Community.

If the customer wants more specific information, they can compare the RM of the KV series with that of the imxRT106x series.
