SWD Debug and Sharing GPIO on a K22

Hi Everyone, new to this forum and no doubt will have an array of technical questions after switching from PIC to Kinetis hardware development...

Anyway...

Going to be using a Kinetis K22 80pin package, and soucring the reference manuals, I will be using SWD for debug/programming.

What should I connect my GROUNDDetect Line to? Is it used on SWD?

Also, the 3v3... is that a 'sense' for the programmer or a power to my MCU? I will be powering the MCU locally, as there are several other 3V3 devices on the board sharing that net.

Thanks!

Matt

Hi Matt,

Please refer Kinetis Peripheral Module Quick Reference page35 about K22 SWD debugger interface (Figure 2-8).

The pin9 PTA4/EZP_CS_b  can be left floating (this pin with internal pull-up).

Wish it helps.

B.R.
