Recovering Bricked FRDM-K22F Development Board

Dear Community,

I'm facing a critical issue with my FRDM-K22F development board, it is in a bricked state. To resolve this, I'm seeking advice on whether the J-Link (Part Number: 899-8.08.91-ND) is suitable for recovery. Alternatively, if this option doesn't fit the bill, could someone recommend a Segger J-Link model within my budget of up to $150 that would effectively aid in recovering the board from its current state?

Your prompt guidance and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Regarding your issue that the FRDM-K22F board becomes bricked, I suppose that we can classify two cases:

case 1:The K22 becomes bricked(break down), in the case, J-Link can not recover the K22, it is useless to order J-Link

case 2:the K22 works fine, but the on-chip probe has issue, in the case, you can disable on-board probe and use J-Link to download/debug K22.

You can open the J10, J13, close pin 2&3 of J9 on FRDM-K22F, connect the J-link to J11 SWD CONNECTOR.

Pls have a try
