Prcoessor unique identifier SIM_UUIDL and SIM_UUIDH

Greetings,

I have tried to look at the registers SIM_UUIDL and SIM_UUIDH on two SKEAZ64xxx2 on different boards and found out that the SIM_UUIDL are equalent on the two processors. The SIM_UUIDH is different. Is this the unique identifier for the processor?

Furthermore, the datasheet KEA64RM states "The read-only SIM_UUIDL register contains a series of number to identify the unique device in the family." and ""The read-only SIM_UUIDH register contains a series of number to identify the unique device in the family." 

What does these fields represents more exactly?

Hello Michael,

In the reference manual mention that these two fields are a part of the same ID, so the unique identifier is 64-bit long.

However, it does not answer the question - are these two fields representing one unique processor (meaning no other processor in the universe can have this same ID) or do these two fields represent model within the KEAZ64RM family?

Hello Michael,

As you may notice in the two MCU that you compare, the ID will be different for each MCU.
