Hi, Is HCI loopback possible with KW35/36 ? if yes, can you please share the procedure ?

Hi Sai,

Please look at the HCI_Read_Loopback_Mode command.

For a better reference, Look at the Bluetooth LE Specification.

Many thanks for your instant reply, I tried sending HCI_Read_Loopback_Mode in KW36 by using the following procedure : 

1) Flashed the HCI_BB in KW36.

2) Opened test tool and tried sending HCI_Read_Loopback_Mode.

I receive the return parameter as Unknown_HCI_Command_Error.

What i need to know is that, IS HCI_Read_Loopback_Mode/ HCI_Write_Loopback_Mode possible with KW36 ?

These commands should not be supported, I will confirm with R&D further, and will reply to you as soon as I have the results.

I see the following explanation in the BT core spec, maybe, this does not apply to Bluetooth LE, it is just the BR/EDR command.

This command writes the value for the setting of the BR/EDR Controller’s Loopback
