MKW41Z512 DSPI PCS

Hello Everyone, 

I have a question about the pins I can use for the DSPI on the KW41z processor.

I am using a custom board and one of the pins that I have for the CS is just a regular GPIO pin instead of the SPI0_PCSx pin. Can I disable the PCS requirements on the drivers provided for the DSPI and use a manual toggle for the CS or do I have to use  a SPI0_PCSx pin to be able to use the provided drivers?

If I am able to disable the PCS how do I go about doing so?

I figured it out, for now at least, I just select a CS pin that does not exist on the chip and use the gpio as a CS pin. Woks well so far.
