Kinetis kwikstik's infrared receiver

I wonder how to use Kinetis kwikstik's infrared receiver. I need to use the IR receiver to store the binary command sent by each button on a remote control tv.

Already installed MQX 3.7, and demo software that simulates a remote control, but there is no code to receive data from a remote control.

Here is a small code example of how to configure any of the kinetis UART ports in a K60 to send/receive data using the irDA functionality.
