KW36A BUCK AUTOSTART

Hello,

I want to use KW36A chip in buck auto start mode. I have the VDCDCIN and DCDC-CFG and PSWITCH wired together.

Is it all thats required to power up the MCU?

I have not connected the 1P8OUT back to the VDD0 and VDD1 pins. Is there any issues with not doing that?

What are the implications if VDD0 and 1 are in the NC state?

I have connected VDDA, VREFH to 1P8OUT. Will that suffice?

Yes, you need the VDD_0 and the VDD_1 connection. For further details, you can seen in our FRDM-KW36 Minimum BoM Development BoardUser’s Guide , in chapter 3 the connections needed for the requested configuration.
