KL03Z: Accuracy of LPO Timer?

Hello,

I am considering using the LPO timer for a certain application, but I need to know the accuracy. I understand that it is an RC internal oscillator, but the datasheet does not state an accuracy. Do you know of any publications with this information? If not, any suggestions for how one could measure it?

Thanks,

Sara

Form the data sheet:

pastedImage_1.png

This gives +/- 10%.

You can connect the LPO to CLKOUT32k (on PTB13) to measure its frequency or use it to clock the RTC to measure its long term drift (when I do this I tend to get around 5 minutes drift in an hour).

If you need accuracy you will need to use a crystal or external oscillator.

Regards

Mark

Thanks Mark! I don't know how I missed that in the datasheet!
