K21 hangs when oscillator mode set to high gain

Hi all,

We are having some problem getting the K21 works with High gain Oscillator operating mode using Processor Expert. The code keeps hanging in cpu.c (see photo below)

The K21 works ok with Low power mode. The reference manual says that this option should work.

Here is my external crystal setting in Processor expert:

Hi

Whether you need high or low gain mode depends on your HW - setting the opposite mode will not work.

If your HW doesn't have a loading resistor (and possile no loading capacitors) you must use low gain mode.

If you want to use high gain mode you will need to add the loading and then it will start.
