How to keep question from vanishing?

I apparently successfully posted a question this morning (June 18) that disappeared shortly thereafter (few minutes), so I posted it again and that one has also vanished.  Is there a trick to having a posted question remain for more than a few minutes?

I guess this is because your message needs to be moderated?

Does it contain links or other special things?

If so, then depending on the forum, it needs to be first approved by the forum moderator (usually happens within a few hours).
