HAL,IO_TIMEOUT Errors during Layer 3/4 Activation with CLEV663

Hello,

I'm encountering "HAL,IO_TIMEOUT" errors when attempting to activate Layer 3 and Layer 4 on a Desfire EV4 card using the aCLEV663 NFC board (OM26630FDKM).

Setup:

• Board: CLEV663 NFC board (OM26630FDKM)
• Card: Desfire EV4 card supplied with the CLEV663 kit
• Software: NXP NFC Cockpit v8.1.0

Steps Taken:

1. Successfully loaded the Type A protocol.
2. Turned on the RF field.
3. Placed the Desfire EV4 card on the antenna (card is confirmed working).
4. Attempted Layer 3 activation -> Received "RFProtocolTypeAService:RequestA Failed: HAL,IO_TIMEOUT" and "RFProtocolTypeAService:PerformLayer3Activation Failed: HAL,IO_TIMEOUT" errors.

Additional Information:

• The card is placed in the antenna RF field.
• The card is functional..

When you try to activate layer 3,  you need to put the card on field, in this case, also get failed, please change another card and try again.

Are you sure you are using an EV4 card? It seems that there is no EV4, only EV1/2/3.
