Hi,

We are using KDS to support our existing board and we faced a problem on a new installation where we are not able to install or update KDS-related software into KDS.

When doing "Help" > "Install New Software...", when selecting the "Freescale KDS Update Site" (http://freescale.com/lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/KDS), we get errors telling that repository cannot be read.

This seemed to work less than a year ago.

Did the repository address change?

Thanks!

I think NXP has shut down the freescale.com web sites.

Change it to

http://nxp.com/lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/KDS

this worked for me.

I hope this helps,

Erich

Thanks we will try that and get back to you (for sure it communicates with KDS, we will verify the versions we can get there).

By any chance, do you know a replacement for http://www.pemicro.com/eclipse/updates and http://gnuarmeclipse.sourceforge.net/updates repositories?

(I see that our current repository settings are based on the repository found in your answer)

The PEMicro site still exists and is used with MCUXpresso IDE. But it looks it only supports later Eclipse versions (KDS is using an older/legacy Eclipse).

As for the GNU ARM Eclipse one: this one has been moved here: https://github.com/eclipse-embed-cdt/eclipse-plugins

You can download releases from there and then install into Eclipse.
