I need the KBOOT example that can be used in the KDS or Codewarrior IDE.

Anyone knows How to use the FSL_Kinetis_Bootloader_1_1_0 with KDS IDE.

My target board is TWR-KL25Z48M.

Hi KWANGHO PARK,

KBOOT has not been supported by KDS yet.

KBOOT will only support IAR. We are planning to include KDS in the future.

Best Regards,

Iva

Hi Iva,

This will be using KDS? And it is easy to modify to use on K64F?

Thanks,

Christie

Hi

Note that KBOOT V1.1.0  UART and USB modes are available in the uTasker serial loader (together with composite USB-MSD, and/or combined SD card etc.) which can be built with CW, KDS, IAR, uVision, CooCox, Crossworks, Atollic, GCC (and with Green Hills in the developer version): µTasker Kinetis support

The TWR-KL25Z48M is supported out-of-the-box - I will post a binary later today so that it can be evaluated if required before Feescale's solution is made available.

The majority of Freescale KE, KL and K boards are supported and need no further porting effort but can be easily customised/built with any of these compilers/tools..

Regards

Mark

Hi

This is the link that I wanted to give earlier:

http://www.utasker.com/kinetis/TWR-KL25Z48M.html

Here you can test KBOOT operation on UART and USB on the TWR-KL25Z48M - at the same time is allows USB-MSD operation on its composite USB device connection.

To verify loading there is an application for the board with various functions (including):

- displays accelerometer values
- allows low power modes
- operates as composite USB-device with USB-CDC, mouse and keyboard (the command line menu is available of the virtual COM or on UART-0)

At the moment the KBOOT PC SW has a problem with USB mode and takes about 3 minutes to load the application. Using KBOOT UART is a lot faster and using USB-MSD is very fast.

Regards

Mark
