I received three FRDM boards today, and immediately upgraded the bootloaders on all three to the latest version I could download from Pemicro.
After this, I attempted to load the MSD-DEBUG-APP on to all three as well. Two of the boards took this successfully, but one of them would not. I tried a few times, and then it stopped going into the bootloader.
That board will now not go into the Bootloader mode at all - if I attach the USB cable to the OpenSDA port whilst holding down the reset button, nothing at all happens as long as I hold the reset button down. When I release the button, it starts booting the default demo app (rotating numbers on the LCD etc).
Is there any way to easily recover the board from this situation or is effectively useless now?
Hi Toby,
How the device appears in the windows explorer when you connect it without trying the bootloader mode and how it appears when you just connect it?
Regards,
Adrian
Hi Adrian,
It doesn't appear in File Explorer in either case.
