FRDM-KL26Z trace on uVision with ULINK Pro Debugger

Hi, I am using a FRDM-KL26Z board with a Keil ULINK Pro Debugger and I would like to trace as many information as possible on Keil uVision Debugger. Is there a way to do so ? ETM would be nice. I have seen it is possible on the KL25 version of the board but could not make it work on the KL26 board. Does anyone know how to do so ?

Where have you seen this?

Since the KL25/KL26 have SWD and no trace pins they are limited to the CoreSight Micro Trace Buffer to provide trace capabilities.

I wouldn't envisage any differences between boards since only the SWD wires are involved. Also I wouldn't expect any debugger types to have advantages in this respect since all trace suppport would be via SWD and the controlling software.

Hi,

Indeed, I have made the Micro Trace Buffer work and can know trace instructions. However, I can't get any information on the event viewer, or the code coverage, or the performance analyzer.

Is it possible to get these information on uVision by using the MTB ?

Final answer : It is not possible to get these debug information on uVision because MTB cannot do timestamps.
