Error in receiving from GPRS Modem when connected to TWRK70

I am using TWRK70F120M and have interfaced the GPRS (SIM900a) modem to it. I am using UART2 and have enabled "ittyc" channel. I am sending AT command from the controller as per the example code. But I receive AT back from the GPRS modem. Kindly let me know what could be the problem and how to resolve it.
