If you have an Android device and go to Android Play, you can download Freescale's Xtrinsic Sensor fusion toolbox.
In the documentation the FRDM KL25Z and other KL series are mentioned using a FRDM-FXS-MULTI freedom sensor shield.
I can't find any data on this shield, has it been released yet? does anyone else know about it?
Yours Simon M.

Also included in Freescale Xtrinsic Sensor Fusion App is built-in support for Avnet's "Wi-Go" sensor board for which applicable FRDM-KL25Z application software (for full tilt-compensated eCompass function as well as Wi-Fi communication with the Freescale App) is available to developers.
More detail on the Avnet Wi-Go board (and reference software) is available here:

Hi Peter,
I saw that, but I was put off by the import shipping & taxes to the UK, but I might bite the bullet and get it anyway...

Simon,
It hasn't been released yet. Current status is that we did a limited, pre-production, build to do basic validation of the design. Those are the boards shown at various trade shows last week. I'm expecting general availability in August.

Mike Stanley
Hi Mike,
Can you give any info on it yet?
Yours Simon M.
I refer to this as our "kitchen sink board". Tentatively, we plan to include options for:
The board will probably be manufactured with different combinations of the above. Specific configurations and prices are still TBD.
Roll on August!
I can see this being popular with Autonomous flight folk.
(a GPS would be the cherry on top! )

Keep me informed please Michael
