Tracing using SWD/SWO/SWV with Jlink on Kinetis design studio

I have the jlink configured to SWD debugging and i have SWO enabled.
I have 10 Pin interface(SWD) connected from Jlink to Target board.

how to enable the tracing on Kinetis design studio(KDS), i dont see anything on console for Serial wire Viewer(SWV)

does KDS need any plugin to added.

Hi Niranjan,

you certainly can do SWO output in KDS, and you don't need any special plugins for this. I can use it to print messages to the console view like this:

Hi Niranjan,

does your 10pin connector actually have the SWO pin routed to? I ask because most boards (e.g. FRDM) do not have this pin. What board are you using?

KDS does not support the trace function .
