Hello,

I am experiencing some difficulties with KL43Z MCU.

I have installed:

1. KDS 2.0.0

2. KSDK_1.1.0 and KSDK_1.0.0(1.0.1) for KL43Z and set the KSDK_PATH to this last one

3. I have installed the Eclipse Update from the before mentioned SDK and restarted everything

4. Using Windows7 64bit and running the KDS as administrator

I am able to create a KL43Z project using SDK and PE and I am able to compile it, however when I try to create a new debugger profile, under the "Device Name" field there is no KL43Z processor such as the image below, I can see a lot of MCUs and KL36 and KL46 without KL43 between then (nor anywhere else on the list):

What is missing?

Thanks,

Thiago

Hi Thiago,

I do have it listed:

But it could be that it comes with a P&E update. Have you installed the 1.1.8.201411191655 update?

Hi Erich,

That did the trick, thanks. The funny thing is that I have tried the "Check for Updates" before and it told me that there was no update needed ( I already had the PEMicro update site on the list).

Anyhow, now KL43 is showing on the list.

Thanks

Hi Thiago,

This is expected and matches how Eclipse works.

'Check for updates' only updates for things you already have installed or support for. Technically, new device support is 'new software', as a new feature in Eclipse. Therefore you need to use 'add new software'. I hope that make sense (and I agree that this is weird).

Alice
