I am considering using the #PCA9615 in an environment where the DSDAM, DSDAP, DSCLP, and DSCLM pins could be shorted, either to each other, to VDDB, or to GND, in a controlled, recoverable, fault condition. Given the fact that this chip is designed to drive low impedance loads, I am wondering if these pins include short circuit protection? Would use of the EN input for Hot Swap when anticipating the fault help the chip to survive this situation? Thanks for your help
