Hello,
I tried to test on a clean Windows 11/64bit machine: Before PCAN drivers were installed, the message was the same as yours. After installing the PCAN Win11 drivers from this link, the FreeMASTER shows the PCANBasic.dll is loaded successfully.
For now, this is the only test I can do. I will be able to try more with a PCAN device during next week. I will inform you then.
Please try to reinstall the PCAN drivers and reboot. Also check the DLLs:
- The C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\PCANBasic.dll is the x64 version which the FreeMASTER attempts to load, but the system automatically uses the x86 version instead.
- The x86 version must exist at: c:\Windows\SysWOW64\PCANBasic.dll
In my case, the properties of c:\Windows\SysWOW64\PCANBasic.dll show:

Regards,
Michal
