MC56F8355 start up

Hello,

I use an MC56F8355 and it doesn't start when I heat it.

The RESET signal is OK but the RSTO signal stayes at 0.

Hi,

I suppose that the MC56F8355 can run if you don't heat it.

This is the ambient temperature range the MC56F8355 can work.

Hi,

If the temperature is 25°C, it's OK.

If the temperature is 10°C or 50°C, it's not OK.

I changed crystal by a ceramic resonator 8MHz and I can start the µcontroller at 10 and 50°C.

Is it necessary to change the bit  register COHL which is at  1.

Hi,

If you use 8MHz ceramic resonator, I suppose the COHL bit should be cleared.
