IEC60730 DAC test for 56F82746

Hi Support:

One quick question from customer, how to impememnt DAC test during running on 56F82746? in IEC60730 release library, there are WDOG, RAM test etc, how to implement IEC60730 test for DAC? thanks 

And since 56F8257 have DAC route to ADC and CMP, but I only see DAC route to CMP only? so for such situation, any solution is suggested? thanks.

Hi, DaWei,

I have checked the IEC60730 test code based on MC56F84xxx, it does not include the DAC test example. This is my idea for DAC test, I think you can have DAC output a DC analog voltage, use ADC to test the DAC output, you can use PIT to trigger ADC to sample the DAC output in a fixed cycle, if the error between ADC sample and DAC digital value is in a tolerance range, we think it passes the test.
