movclr on 5445x

Hi, does anyone know whether the movclr instruction is available in the

5445x Coldfires? In the CF programmers reference it says it is available in EMAC

enhanced cores, but it is not listed in the MCF54455 Reference Manual. Is it omitted

by mistake?

Hi Andy,

Are you asking because you didn't see it in MCF54455RM table 5-8 or because you tried it and it didn't assemble?  I'm checking to see if it was just an oversight in the table.

What environment are you using?  CW or Linux/GCC?

thank you for the reply, I just did not find it in MCF54455RM, and I am trying to evaluate DSP

performance comparing my 56k3 code to v4m equivalents.

Hi Andy,

I've received confirmation from the silicon design team that MOVCLR is in the 5445x line.  They are going to take a look at the table and submit a manual update.  All the EMAC instructions listed in the CFPRM are available on the 5445x line.
